Development has started on the next DarkStar project, working title DSPaint.

DSPaint is a WYSIWYG 2D tile map editor to support the new texture blended 2D tile map object
for the DarkDraw2D module. The WYSIWYG UI will be a simple variant of the Aqua interface and will
introduce DarkDraw2D GUI objects such as Docs, DocButtons, Frames, etc.
The current build is able to "paint" textures on a tile map additionally several optimizations have been
ran on the tile map its self to insure as little impact as possible on the rendering pipe.
Once completed the DSPaint program will be capable of saving the completed tile map to disk additionally
DarkDraw2D will have functions for loading DSPaint tile maps. The format the tile map will be saved to has
not yet been defined check back for more information.
